It is hard to describe what I do in few words so I will say that I am a disciple of the performing arts — in other words, I am a performer with a broader range of what I do.

My journey started in Japan where I was born and raised until I moved to the US as a teenager. Starting from a young age, I grew up playin music in a jazz band, singing on stage, performing in musicals and plays, and all this eventually lead me to study vocal performance at Carnegie Mellon University.

As a performer — regardless of the form of performance — I enjoy tapping into the connection and communal aspect of it. Without audience and community, there is no performance and the connection with them keeps me going as someone that tries to bring joy to those around though artistic expression.

I am always looking for new challenges and to grow not just as a performer, but also as a person. So let’s make something beautiful and grow together.
